During early 17th century scientific experiments of Alessandro Volta led to the invention of electrophorus, a device which produced static electrical charge, and by 1800 Volta invented the voltaic pile, a precesor battery power.</p>
<p>Thomas Edison invented the first electric power circuit in the world. However, it was not until the early nineteenth century research in electrical circuits began. Some of the notable points in this century include the great work of Mr. Ohm, who calculated the relation between  current and potential difference in a conductor, Mr. Faraday who invented induction, and James Clerk Maxwell later  published this  theory of electricity and magnetism.</p>
